Confirmation Parent Formation Night - Tonight
The Confirmation Parent Formation Night is being held this evening at 7.30pm at Holy Family Church Gowrie.
All parents of children receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation are to attend this meeting tonight.
Mothers Day Breakfast - tomorrow!
We look forward to welcoming all families to our annual Mother's Day breakfast tomorrow morning from 7.30am in the school hall.
We have sent home breakfast tokens to all families who have pre-ordered and paid. Please bring your tokens to exchange for your breakfast tomorrow morning. Families who have tokens will be served first.
As always we are after help tomorrow morning so that the breakfast runs smoothly. If you can spare some time to assist tomorrow, please let us know by emailing office.stfranciscalwell@cg.catholic.edu.au
A reminder to all year 6 students considering St Mary Mackillop College for Year 7 in 2020, the Try Mackillop Day is being held tomorrow.

Mackillop College will provide a bus to transport Year 6 students who have enrolled to participate on the day. The bus will depart St Francis of Assisi at approximately 9.00am and will return at approximately 3.00pm. A Mackillop College staff member will travel on the bus with our students.
The Catholic Schools Enrolment Period for 2020 is now open. We had a very successful open day on Monday 6 May and we have another open day coming up on Wednesday 29 May from 9.30-11.00am and 4.00-6.00pm. Please encourage any interested family and friends to come along and see what our great school has to offer!

Cross Country Carnival - this Monday 13 May
A reminder that our annual Cross Country Carnival is being held this Monday 13 May at the Calwell Playing Fields.
The carnival will commence at 10.00am and conclude by approximately 2.00pm
All students will be participating in the carnival as follows:
- Kinder and year 1 - 500m
- 7 years - 1000m
- 8 years - 1000m
- 9 years - 1500m
- 10 years - 2000m
- 11, 12, 13 years - 3000m
Students should wear full sports uniform on the day, and may wear a shirt in house colour.

Ninja Warrior Colour Run - sponsorship money
A reminder to send in all Ninja Warrior Colour Run sponsorship money as soon as possible. For every $5.00 raised, students will receive a ticket in the prize draw at our special assembly to be held next Friday 17 May 2019 at 2.00pm in the school hall.
Money must be received by Wednesday 15 May to be included in the prize draw.
All money raised will go towards improving our gardens and outdoor spaces.

Environment Disco - Friday 17 May 2019
The Environment Disco is coming up next Friday 17 May 2019.
Tickets are now available to purchase through QKR and are $5.00 for an individual ticket or $10.00 for a family ticket.

Book Club Orders Close Tomorrow
Book Club catalogues for the first issue this term were sent home last week.
Orders will close tomorrow, Friday 10 May 2019. Sorry but no late orders will be accepted.
Woolworths Earn and Learn 2019
St Francis of Assisi Primary School is again participating in the Woolworths Earn and Learn promotion this year.
All completed sticker sheets can be dropped off at Woollies or we have a collection point here at the school library.
Spare sticker sheets are available at the front office or the library.
