PIN Night 2022
Our PIN night will be held next Monday 14th February at 6 pm. Given the current restrictions, we have had to change the night's format to see the evening hosted online and in grade levels. Classroom Teachers will send a Microsoft Teams invite to parents via Compass in the coming days. All sessions will be recorded and made available in the following days via a link also distributed on Compass for those parents with siblings. This means you can choose which grade level you attend on the night and watch back the recording for any other children you have.
Meet and Greet Parent Teacher Interviews.
In Week 4, we will be hosting Parent-Teacher Interviews online Via Microsoft Teams. You will be invited to book a session via the Compass portal next week. The purpose of these interviews will be to make connections between parents and classroom teachers, establish communication procedures and also discuss information related to your child's learning goals and any other information that may enhance student-teacher relationships. You will get a form sent home next week to provide a framework for this discussion.
Anointing Mass: We will hold an Anointing Mass next Friday 11 February at 10.30am in Holy Family Church for anyone who would like to be anointed or would like to pray for those who are suffering. If you or someone you know would like to be anointed but are unable to attend Mass, please contact the Parish Office and we will arrange for Fr James or Fr Josh to visit you.
Tuesday Playgroup has vacancies for Term 1. Meeting every Tuesday morning in the Parish Centre Gowrie from 9.30am, an invitation is extended to mums/dads/grandparents/carers with children from babies to preschool. This is a great way to meet other families in our community and enjoy a morning out. Numbers are restricted so please contact the Parish Office if you are interested.
Sacraments: In 2022 Corpus Christi Parish will celebrate sacraments in the following school years: Confirmation Year 6, First Eucharist Year 5, First Reconciliation Year 4.
Enrolments will be on our Parish Qkr! app and each sacrament will have a specific enrolment period:
Confirmation: Enrolments 14 March - 4 April. Celebration in June.
First Eucharist: Enrolments August, Celebration September (specific dates to be confirmed).
First Reconciliation: Enrolments October, Celebration November (specific dates to be confirmed).
How to install QKR! on your device/smartphone
* Search for Qkr! in your app store and download/install.
* Search for South Tuggeranong (our parish logo will show). Create a profile with your child’s name and add a credit/debit card.

School traffic: We have already seen a number of near misses from parents/carers driving the wrong way through the exit into the carpark to collect their child from school. We appreciate the heavy volume of traffic in the morning and afternoon but this is unsafe. Please use Castleton Crescent for entry only and Bugden Avenue for exit only. Let’s keep our families and children safe.
