Staff Farewells and Appointments
Last week we farewelled several staff taking leave and/or moving on to other opportunities. We wish Michelle Aiken all the best as she takes leave for the remainder of the school year to try something different and help run a family business. We farewelled Grace Aksila who has accepted a job in the Public service, and Mrs Rosie Todd, our Finance manager, who will move on to another role.
Last week we also interviewed a number of new CSA staff and welcome Liam Cashion, Grace Robinson, Breanna Henkel, Joanna Laidlaw & Emma Hofsink to the Green Room Team. We are currently sourcing a Finance Manager this week. We also welcome Mrs Barbara McHatten, who has returned to Australia after returning home to Canada, during the pandemic. We are extremely lucky to have Barb join our teaching staff for the remainder of the school year. She will be undertaking several planned leave roles and relief teaching in the school.
EUCHARIST RETREAT DAY
On Wednesday our Year 5 Students will participate in the Eucharist Retreat Day. ALL students will participate regardless of whether or not they are receiving the Sacrament of Eucharist. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we will now hold the retreat on school grounds. Students may wear casual clothes but will need to bring their recess and lunch as normal as they will follow the normal school bell times. The day will be full of prayer and faith development opportunities and I know the children and teachers are looking forward to the time of reflection together.

We are receiving items of school uniform clothing in the office that either has no names on it or the name is not legible.
Therefore we dont know who to return the clothing items to.
We hold it in the office for a few days to see if any students come and collect it, if not it becomes a natural donation to the uniform shop.
Please ensure all clothing items are clearly marked with the students name so the item can be returned to the rightful owner.
Thankyou
