Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you for a great term. Our students have achieved a great deal this semester and we were reminded of how much during our End of Term assembly last week. On Mon-Wed this week our teachers conducted over 300 Parent Teacher interviews. I thank the staff for their commitment to the students and the hours of preparation, assessment and moderation that went into our Semester 1 reporting. I also thank the parent community for making themselves available to attend these meetings to discuss progress and set goals for next semester. I have included a few bits of information next semester below:
Pupil Free day
A Pupil-free day is scheduled for all Catholic Schools on Monday, 17th July. The first day of Term 3 is Tuesday 18th July.
Kelly Delaney
Next term, we will welcome Kelly back in a part-time capacity. Kelly will continue to care for her parents next term and undertake roles in the school that utilise her skills and experience but also give some flexibility to continue to care for her parents. Kelly will provide our Early Career Teachers with their days out of class and also work to implement a Numeracy intervention program for students in Yrs 2-4.
I hope you find some time to rest and recharge with your children over this school holiday period.
Kind regards
Sean Rutledge
