This week's TNA update comes from Year 4 team Lightning ⚡️
Last week's game was played in very windy conditions! Team Lightning was excited to play against HF Swifties. Both teams were undeafted. It was a fun and competitive game with Lightning trying to catch the Swifities who had a four-goal lead. The final score, SFA Lightning 9 - HFA Swifties 11.
The new playing bibs for SFA netball teams arrived this week. They look fantastic against the maroon uniform! The new bibs have been kindly designed, sponsored and donated by Ray White. Thank you Ray White!
The Good Sport Award for this round went to Georgia Ball and the Encouragement Award went to Jack! Congratulations Georgia and Jack!
Team Lightning will play rain hail or shine, and now extreme wind!
We look forward to this weeks game, Round 4 Reconciliation Round. There will be special activities and games planned across the day so come on down and wear yellow to show your support. ?
This week (20 - 26 May) is National Volunteer Week and this year's theme is Something for Everyone. We recognise the diverse skills and passions that volunteers bring to so many roles and areas across our communities.
Here at St Francis, there is so much we would be unable to do without our invaluable volunteers. From the canteen and uniform shop, to events and sports, the Community Council and more, our school community is a richer environment because of the time and effort that so many people contribute. This year, we are planning on further developing volunteer opportunities, information and processes to support our school activities, so keep an eye out for future communications and invitations to share ideas and volunteer in the school community. Please see the attached information from Kathy our Canteen manager, about volunteering in the canteen.
