Around the Grounds from the Community Council
The Term 3 Week 8 Community Council meeting was held again from the comfort of our lounge rooms, with many little faces popping in to say hi to Kate, Tiffany and Nikki at the commencement of our meeting. We are all looking forward to when we can see each other face to face, however, have gotten very used to our new norm for meeting rhythm.
Playground Equipment
A reminder the playground equipment is closed due to COVID cleaning regulations. The amount of time and cleaning after hours to make it possible for use at this present time is too great a task and the decision was made to keep it closed.
Please let your child/ren know all the staff are working on a practical solution to get the playground opened for term 4.
Spring Day
It has been an unusual and disruptive year for everyone. With that in mind and to celebrate the new growth in gardens and warmer weather, Spring day has been created for the children to wear a bright spring coloured top. More details to follow. We are looking to celebrate spring day before the end of term 3.
Fundraising
We have been a bit quiet on this front this year, however, have been discussing and come up with some great ideas.
As most people enjoy a nice cookie, the first one will be a cookie dough drive. More information will come out to all families before the end of term 3.
Due to the recent media attention of the popular app Tik Tok, attached is an information sheet for parents on how Tik Tok works. Also a quick guide to Tik Tok settings which is essential to ensure safety for our children.

School Photo Day - Monday 19 October 2020
Our rescheduled School Photo Day will be held on Monday 19 October (Monday of Week 2).
Photo envelopes for each student have been sent home today. Online ordering is the preferred payment method using the unique 'shoot key' assigned to each child.
Spare envelopes are available in the front office if required. Spare envelopes do not have a shoot key - any parent requiring a shoot key for their child will have to call MSP on 6255 9208 or email canberra.office@msp.comm.au to obtain the shoot key (for example separated families needing extra envelopes or misplaced envelopes).
Sibiling envelopes are available at the front office if required. A discount applies to families with three or more children. After purchasing individual packs for each child, a sibilings presentation pack of your choice will be free. Only children who present a siblings order form to the photographer on photo day will have their family/sibilings photo taken.
All children are to wear full summer uniform for photo day - no sports uniform on this day please!
Book Week has been rescheduled to Term 4 from Monday 19 to Friday 23 October 2020.
Further information about book week activities and the book week parade will be communicated closer to the time.
