Winter Woollies Day - tomorrow!
A reminder that tomorrow is Winter Woollies Day!
Please come dressed in your Winter Woollies tomorrow, and bring a donation of blankets, coats, scarves, sleeping bags, beanies or gloves. If you do not have an item to donate, you can bring a gold coin donation for Vinnies instead.
Dear Parents and Carers within our community,
Thank you to all of you who email, ring, come to parent teacher meetings and assist us in our process of providing equal access to education. Our Personal Plans (PPs) are evidence of this and I believe our focus on equal education is benefitting our students.
On Friday the 25 the June, Catholic Education has asked all schools to finalise their PPs, ready for the Federal Government’s August Census. Part of the transparency of this process, is for parents and carers to be notified of this event. This data identifies funding needs for our school which is why it is important that information is collated and submitted to the Federal Government.
I would like to thank all of the teachers of St Francis for their diligence in implementing the right support for students and for gathering evidence. It is a HUGE job, but we are happy to assist all our students where and when they need it.
Wishing you a great break from lunches over the holidays.
Warm Regards,
Karen Western
